Bone and soft tissue Case 5. Thigh mass from a 4 YO patient.

The mass was biopsied and diagnosed at outside hospital as sarcoma. The patient was treated with chemoradiation, followed by amputation.

Next generation sequencing confirmed t(15;19) translocation.

This is a case of NUT carcinoma showing morphologic maturation after chemo-radiation.

One year after the surgery, the patient had recurrence. The morphology of the recurrent tumor showed the typical morphology of NUT carcinoma.
